Failure to comply on time can have significant financial consequences for your company.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who must file and how?<\/h4>\n\n<p>The responsibility falls on the legal representative of the company, who must carry out the procedure directly on the Central Bank&#8217;s platform using his\/her <strong>digital signature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you do not have a digital signature, there are two alternatives:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>That the procedure be carried out by a <strong>general attorney-in-fact with no limit on the amount<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>That a <strong>special power of attorney<\/strong> be granted <strong>by public deed<\/strong> in favor of a person who does have a digital signature. This power of attorney may be used <strong>only once,<\/strong> exclusively for this procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens if I do not comply?<\/h4>\n\n<p>The omission of this obligation is not a minor matter. A <strong>fine of 2%<\/strong> is imposed on <strong>the gross income<\/strong> obtained by the legal entity or legal structure, corresponding to the fiscal period prior to the infraction.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minimum fine:<\/strong> Three base salaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum fine:<\/strong> One hundred base salaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p><strong>Avoid penalties and comply on time.<\/strong><br\/>Make sure to complete this procedure as soon as possible and keep your company&#8217;s obligations up to date.
