Sharon Karina Hernández

She is a Guatemalan lawyer and notary. Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Rafael Landívar University, a Masters’ Degree in International Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Economic and Commercial Law.

She is authorized by the Supreme Court of Justice to practice law and act as notary public. She has participated as counsel in labor arbitrations, in the field of labor law, advising on matters related to the construction industry, banking, contracts for the provision of professional services and telecommunications services, insurance and industry. Labor consultancy on corporate matters, mediation and settlements, both of a judicial and extrajudicial nature.

She has been a professor of Labor Law and Commercial Law, and currently serves as proctor for the Professional Technical Exam in the field of Labor Law and the field of Procedural Labor Law at the Rafael Landívar University. She has served as Legal Counsel providing consultancy services to institutions in the fields of construction, the oil industry, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications services with regards to property registrations, commercial law, general property law and contracting matters in both the commercial and civil spheres. Incorporation of companies and corporations, minutes of general meetings of shareholders, and drafting of agreements for bank loans, loans with real estate collateral and secured transactions, as well as trusts and bonds. Likewise, she also works in the field of intellectual property and has provided corporate counsel to entities since 2002.

She is currently part of the Novis Estudio Legal team engaged in our litigation, corporate law and intellectual property areas. She provides consultancy services on administrative law, tender processes, and Government contracts.
