Javier Antonio Sandoval

He is a Guatemalan lawyer and notary. He serves as corporate counsel on legal, regulatory, strategic, and financial matters for national and international companies. He actively participates in the Boards of Directors of Guatemalan companies, supporting the implementation of the Corporate Governance thereof.
He possesses expertise in finance, negotiations, and strategic planning. He has led negotiations on contract conditions and innovative credit structures that adapt to the financial needs of his clients. He has participated in the preparation of restructuring and refinancing contracts, in the creation of trusts, and in multidisciplinary teams dedicated to raising capital.

He has participated in legal teams in commercial, electric sector, and telecommunications arbitrations.
He was a professor of Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods at the Rafael Landívar University, both for the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree curricula.
He is a mediator for the International Mediation Center of Guatemala and the Guatemalan-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He was a Founding Member of the Guatemalan Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club (CEA) and the first Chair of said Chapter.
He is an Arbitrator of the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce –CENAC-.
