Humberto Sáenz Marinero
He has participated as arbitrator and lawyer in more than 50 national and international arbitrations, under the rules of ICC, AAA, CANACO, CIAC, CENAC, CRECIG, CeCAP, UNCITRAL as well as in ad-hoc arbitrations. He has also been part of annulment committees for ICSID investment arbitrations. His arbitration experience has taken place in the fields of telecommunications, construction, banking, energy, corporate disputes, insurance, franchises, and hydrocarbons. He has represented the State of El Salvador in investment arbitrations. He is part of the list of arbitrators appointed by the Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce. He is also an arbitrator for CRECIG in Guatemala, CeCAP and CESCON in Panama, CCIT in Honduras, and AMCHAM in Peru. He appears on the list of arbitrators appointed by the State of El Salvador to the ICSID.
He has been a corporate and regulatory consultant to various national and international companies, participating in noteworthy mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, international financing, and financial restructuring. He has also participated in a significant manner as legal counsel in corporate, banking, labor, intellectual property, competitive, and public works-related judicial litigation.
